TCM Traditional Chinese Medicine is one of the longest existing medical systems practiced in the world. Originating in China more than 2,500 years ago, it takes a holistic approach treating the body as a whole, addressing the underlying root causes as well as the symptoms. According to TCM, our bodies are composed of interconnected systems including Qi, Blood, Body Fluid, and Essence. Your overall health is determined by the quality of the Qi (energy) flow through the natural pathways of your body (meridians). Imbalance and blockage in the system can lead to illnesses and disease. TCM treatments of acupuncture, herbal remedies, and dietary lifestyles helps restore balance in the body and benefit the mind, body, and spirit.

CCM Self-consistent system of Classical Chinese Medicine, defined by Dr. Pan Xiao Chuan, Dr. TCM., is a system supported by the 3 pillars of TCM classics, the Yi Jing and cosmology. The needling and herbal techniques of this system is straightforward, simple and reliable. The Ling Shu, together with the Su Wen and Nan Jing, constitutes the foundation of this healing tradition. "The focus for the pulse and acupuncture system in 'Ling Shu" is the status of the movement of Yin (nourishing Qi) and Wei (defensive Qi)". Clinical results are achieved by regulating the pulse.

Acupuncture is currently one of the most thoroughly researched and practiced healing modality. It is safe, simple, and effective. Acupuncture uses a variety of techniques, by placing very thin sterile needles into specific points on the body to stimulate and improve your Qi flow and circulation.  Acupuncture treatments may include cupping, moxibustion, or electrical stimulation.

Chinese Herbal Medicine comes in the form of Raw Herbs, Powders, Pill, Tablets, and Tinctures. The foundation of herbal medicine is to support the body's natural self-healing mechanisms and abilities. Selected herbs are combined together to achieve optimal results for the each patients unique condition. Herbal medicine is safe and effectively regulates the body between acupuncture treatments.

Nutrition & Lifestyle

There is a phrase in Chinese that says “30% is treatment, 70% is lifestyle”. In Chinese Medicine, our daily diet and lifestyle has a high impact on our health.  The food that we eat can cause disharmony or become powerful allies for the prevention of disease.

MCT Muscle Channel Technique & Integrative Sports Medicine is a proprietary acupuncture technique for pain and injuries. Shallow insertion and longer needle retention afford longer pain relief and faster healing process. MCT is a clinically proven technique for pain management, and is well published in journals, articles. MCT is a trademark registered system by Frank He, L.Ac. of Sports Medicine Center.

Medical Massage Tui Na Therapy, literally meaning “push” and “grasp”.  It is an invigorating form of Chinese orthopedic massage.  A variety of pressures and strokes between joints and muscles, or along the meridians of your body is used to relax your muscles, promote circulation, and increase range of motion. Tui Na treats both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, as well as many non-musculoskeletal conditions. Shiatsu Therapy is a Japanese form of massage therapy. The word Shiatsu comes from two Japanese words — "shi" (finger) and "atsu" (pressure).
